Welcome to For the Love of Cacti. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website.
2. Use of the Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

3. Products
For the Love of Cacti specializes in rare and exotic cacti and succulents.

Each plant is unique and may vary slightly in size, color, or appearance.

Product images are for reference only.

We endeavor to keep plant availability updated in real time; however, on occasion, items may sell out before the inventory is updated. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
4. Orders
By placing an order you agree that:

Orders may be canceled if payment is not verified.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.
5. Pricing
All prices listed on the website are subject to change without notice. We strive to ensure pricing accuracy but errors may occur.
If a pricing error occurs:

We may cancel the order.

Or offer the product at the correct price.
6. Local Pickup
We are located in the San Gabriel Valley in California but we are not open to the public. We have three local pickup locations. Two are at local markets which take place once a month. The third location is available almost every day that we are not at one of the markets. This is a great way to save on shipping costs.
7. Shipping
We strive to ship our plants and pots within 72 hours of order placement.
Plants are shipped bare root, which means that they are shipped without a pot and with the soil removed.
Plants are shipped carefully to minimize damage, but natural products may experience minor variations or stress during shipping. Additionally, we cannot control what happens to your order during transit.
We strongly recommend selecting shipping insurance during checkout. This is an option during the checkout process.
8. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
For the Love of Cacti is not responsible for packages that are returned to us due to incomplete or incorrect address. Please double check the shipping address you provide during the checkout process to ensure that your package arrives at its intended destination.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we will work with you to re-send your order to the correct/complete address, however, you may need to pay an additional shipping cost.
9. Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of live plants, we do not offer refunds or returns on live plants.
Ceramic pottery may be returned unused and undamaged if you email us at anna@fortheloveofcacti.com within 7 days of receipt of the item to request return authorization and enter “return authorization” on the subject line. Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost. Since ceramic pottery is fragile, it must be packed securely with bubble wrap or other protective materials to ensure safe delivery. Pottery returned used or damaged, or without prior authorization, will not be granted a refund. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance from the shipper when returning the item. Ceramic pottery returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
10. Cancellations
All live plant orders are final and cannot be cancelled. However, if you make a request to cancel a pottery order, and your order has not yet begun the fulfillment process, we may honor your cancellation request. However, this will be done at our sole discretion and will be handled on a case by case basis. To request a cancellation, please email us at anna@fortheloveofcacti.com and enter “cancellation request” on the subject line.
11. Missing Items
If your order arrives without one or more of the items you ordered, please send us a picture of all of the items you received and a picture of the packing slip to anna@fortheloveofcacti.com within 24 hours of the receipt of your order. Please enter “missing item” on the subject line. We will compare the picture and packing slip to our records. Without these two items, we will not be able to address “missing item” claims. If we agree that an item is missing, we will ship that item to you or issue a refund, if that item is no longer available.
12. Damaged Items
If any part of your order arrives damaged, please contact the shipping carrier. If you purchased insurance on your order, they should be able to address your damage claim.
13. Wish List
If you are searching for a plant that is not currently in our inventory, please email us at anna@fortheloveofcacti.com and enter “Wish List” on the subject line. We sometimes have items in stock that are not listed on our website, or we can sometimes locate a specialty item for you.

15. Limitation of Liability
For the Love of Cacti is not liable for:

loss of plants due to improper care.
